2017 to Current

Jim Gilbert has chaired the Technology Users Group since 2017, leading discussions and initiatives to help CPAs adopt and leverage emerging technologies.
Jim Gilbert served on the COCPA Board of Directors from 2021 to 2023, providing leadership and strategic guidance to the state’s CPA community.
Currently, Jim Gilbert is serving as Treasurer on the COCPA Board of Directors, overseeing financial stewardship and organizational planning for the 2024–2026 term.

• November 2019 – Jim and Sri presented to the Boulder/Longmont of the Colorado Society of CPAs. The topic was on artificial intelligence and how it relates to business currently and opportunities for the future. Of course, there was some technical background for this nice group of CPAs.

Jim presented at the AICPA Controller and Manufacturing Conference at Caesars Palace. The topic presented was: API and data integration and best practices for private company controllers can consolidate data and manage disparate data sources.
